What Is Contouring V/S Bronzing??

Hello all beautiful ladies!!
As the Name suggest its a post differentiating bronzing and contouring and now i know most of you will say ohh this girl is crazy stupid because If you are a regular reader of this blog then you guys must know that I posted a Tutorial on How you Can Contour Your Face and if You haven't Read it yet you can Click here and read it!
Now as you know i suggested you all to use a matte bronzer to use as a contour for you and now here i am just pointing that bronzing and contouring is diffrent!! Isn't it?? Definitely it is! but there was a reason behind that actually i wanted to keep thattutorial simple for you so that even an amateur can understand it easily and learn and now i am going to tell you in this post that what exactly the difference between contouring and bronzing by going into a little dept and it is like an advance one!

So Actually bronzers are especially designed to warm up your skin!! suppose you go out and get a tan in the sun this is actually what bronzer does!! it tanns up your skin and adds colour to your face whereas Contouring is all about creating shadows to the areas we want to hide and reshaping your Face.
Take a mirror and just suck in your cheeks and look at the hollows!! what colour can you see?? More like a greyish brown kind of colour and this is what the shadows looks like but when you look at the bronzers those are not grey they are two warm and make your skin glowy.Bronzers and highlighters are actually applied to the areas we want to bring forward and make them stand out whereas we apply contour shades to area we want to hide or recede.

There is actually no issue doing contouring with a matte bronzer but it actually makes a difference when you do it with contouring powders.just look at the above picture!! on the left side i have contoured my Face using a bronzer and on the right side i have done contouring with a contouring powder. Can you see the difference??
In the left picture my face is having a glow and i haven't shaped any area instead added a glow or colour to my face and on the right side all is subtle and structured.
Let me just explain you the difference between the two using some pictures.

Look at the left picture it is more like a warm toned brown whereas the right one is more like a cool toned brown and it actually sculpts and create shapes.!!
Left one is Catrice Cosmetics Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder and right one is loreal Paris The One sweep Sculpting Blush Duo

As i said in my last post related to contour that you can even use a compact powder which is 2 to 3 shades darker than your actual skin colour because if you just look at the picture above and compare it to the last picture which is just above this one you can see compacts are not too warm like a bronzer and not too cool like a sculpting/Bronzing powder and just bangs inbetween so these actually works best to use as a contour for your face and more easily available in india :p
And i said even last time if you don't have any powder or you don't want to invest right now so you can always start with a matte borwn eyeshadow just make sure whatever shade you select isn't too dark for your skin colour else it will look like a mud on your face.
And those who asked me that adding a colour which is darker than our skin colour will look weird i want to make you clear that opt for a right colour and a right tool/brushes and blend well and in right way!! This way it won't look like we have put something on your face and will actually look like a part of your face!!

So hopefully now you Know the Difference between Contouring And bronzing but if you still have any question in your Mind then just leave all those in the comment box below and i will answer those all for you instantly!!
And I am Having A Contest Going On on My Instagram Page which You Can enter Here and you can follow me on my FACEBOOK page too!!

How I Do My Eyeliner +Basic Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello all!!
How are you all doing??
Its been a long time (i Guess 2 weeks or more) since i posted any tutorial so i am back with One!!
I posted a picture of a very simple look with edgy eyeliner and a bold lip and many of you asked me how i did that so here i am explaining every step and it is actually a different look but the Eyeliner is same.
I did a very basic eye makeup and a bold eyeliner so you can actually go for any lip colour with this either a bold bright or a dark or even a neutral lip(according to your preference)

Step By Step Guide

So the first thing you wanna do is applying a primer all over your lids and i am actually just using a moisturiser because i wanted to see how my new eyshadows work without any eyeprimer.
And trust me a little amount goes a long way!
Then i took this shade from my new Makeup Revolution Nudes and smoked Palette and this is my base shadow (its a little lighter than my actual skin colour) and i applied it all over my eyes with this brush from Claire's and i buffed this shadow into my lid and browbone and i applied the same shadow on my lower lash line area too just to brighten the area!

Then i took a pencil brush and i applied a dark warm brown shadow onto my crease creating a sharp line as shown. (for those who don't know what is a crease - it is the area where our eyeball and browbone meets) and for those wo dont have a crease at all they can actually fake a crease by this technique i am using! just draw a line with a darker brown shadow as i did and blend it lightly upwards so that there is no harsh lines and hold the brush straight as i did or a little upwards then it is easier to blend!!

Then i took this shadow on my fluffy brush and make sure its clean and has no residue from the previous colour and i applied this light colour just above my crease colour to create a transition!

In the picture its actually looking like i have spreaded the shadow all over but it was just due to bad lightning -_- and that is the reason why i dont like to work in the evening time.so dont be confused because i have just blended the shadow up towards my browbone.

Then i am taking this colour (it seems like a pale champagne colour to me!) and i carefully applied it onto my lids only and to my browbone for a shimmery highlight.

Before Moving onto the main part i have some rules for you!! I usually don't follow or make rules when it comes to makeup but to make it easier for you i have to! And You also have to follow these rules! :D

Rules For A Perfect Liner Application

1.Start with a Little product always and keep on adding if you need to.

2.Work in small strokes.
And thats it for the rules!!

See how i started!!
I started by applying a thin line from the outer corner of my upper lashline (i am not joining it to my lower lashline) and i created this line using small strokes!! Do not try to create line at once because that wont be perfect then.

Then i pulled my wing back and as you can see its not that thick because i am following my second rule i am working in small strokes and making it thicker by adding little product at a time!

it is easier when you work with small product at a time because if you do any mistake you can correct it easily and you can see how thick you want your liner to be but if you add more at a time thats not gonna work and will look messy!

And i am thickning my liner from the outside corners (sort of making a triangle because i want the liner to be edgy and not a soft one) and then i came in onto my lids but i took it only halfway in and the inner half lid is empty.
If you have smaller or hooded eyes then this trick is for you because by leaving the half area blank your eyes look bigger and i don't have smaller eyes but still i am doing it because i like it that way!

And then i curled my lashes and applied a coat of mascara to my lashes!! i used Maybelline hyper curl volume express mascara on to my upper and lower lashes and i dont have any liner or kohl on my lower lashline and i went in with this creamy shimmer shadow from the same palette and applied it to my lower lashline using an angular brush and thats it for the eyes!!

Now you can pair this up with a light foundation or just a bb cream and whatever lip colour you like! And we are done!!

And sorry for a long post but I still dont have a YouTube channel and i want to explain every little step in depth which makes my posts so long!

And if you liked this then share it with your friends and family and if you recreate this then tag me in your pictures i would love to see your recreations and you can tag me on my Facebook page HERE and My Instagram HERE and i ll see you soon!!!

My Skin Care Routine

Hello girls
So finally this post is here! Many of you have asked me about my skincare Routine and what products i actually use so here it is a post covering what i am using nowadays and what i was using before and i Will Update you if I change my routine!!

So first thing first i am not a skincare specialist and i can't recommend any product to you because evrybody has different skin concerns and types so the things which works for me might not work for you so i am just giving you an brief idea that how a particular product works on me so you can decide weather or not you should go for that product!!
I am having normal to slightly combination skin and i dont have prominent acne problem!! and many of you think that i have that beautiful skin but in actual i don't have!! i do have few spots and open pores around my nose but those are so light and easily covered by my compact powder!!

Nowadays I am following CTM (Cleansing, toning and Moisturising Routine) very strictly twice a day!
For cleansing i use this Neutrogena deep clean Facial Cleanser (as you can see its over now and i need to buy one) and sometimes i use this Garnier Pure Active Real Neem Face Wash.Actually both works fine on my skin but the Neutrogena one is more mild.
Moving onto next step which is toning your face!! Actually Toners are very good for our skin because those have hydrating properties and these restores the Ph Balance of our face (which we loss after we eash our face) and maintain it.But i generally skip toners because most of the toners have alcohol in it that cause irritation on my face.

I am using this toner nowadays from Neutrogena and i think i don't like it reason being it contain alcohol.Somebody asked me to do a review on this so i will separately cover the whole review about this toner. But this thing beside the toner is my all time favourite!! I use this Rose Water instead of my toner and i like it so much!!
Next step is to Moisture Your face!!

I was previously using a moisturiser from Lakme its called their peach Milk moisturiser and nowadays i am using this one from Neutrogena and i like both if them!! then i use this eyecream from Boutique under my eyes and this lip balm from Maybelline to Moisture my lips!!

As you can see i don't have that much fancy routine and The only thing i stress upon is removing my makeup properly because it also helps to keep your skin healthy. If you sleep with makeup that might clog your pores making them visible more and cause irritation in your eyes and face.Nowadays i am using these products mainly!!

I use this Neutrogena oil free eye and lip makeup remover and sometimes this Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean up Makeup Remover.Although both claims to be oil free but i dont find them oil free bit i think i don't care about it because when it hhas oil it cleans better. sometimes when its hard to remove that stubborn waterproof mascara i go for this product

Olive oil actually removes the mascara very well and its even good for eyelashes as it helps to grow them faster! You can even use coconut oil to remove your waterproof mascara and these two works so well!!

So thats all for my skincare Routine!! I hope it was helpful for you all and if you have any suggestions or any queries or questions you can just leave all those in the comment box below and i will get back to you!! Or you can follow me on FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM and i will see you soon :**

All About Eye Primer!! Do I Need One? Any Alternative?? What I am Using?

Hello ladies!!
I am back with another post again today and this is as the name says a blogspot which will answer all of your questions related to eye primers!!
So lets begin......

What Is an Eye Primer??

Primer is basically as the name suggest is to prepare the eyes for the colours we are going to apply onto them!
It is almost the same concept as we see in painting the walls! We are preparing our lids so that the colour just glides very easily, stays longer onto lid and show very vibrant! it is actually like we are creating a smooth canvas for our eyeshadows.Eye Primers also protect our eyeshadows from creasing and fading!

Do I Need One??
Its just all about what you prefer!
If you are a person who just go for a kohl pencil or just a liner then i will suggest you to just go for a powder! Just apply your regular compact powder on your eyes so that if you have minor discolouration that will hide and then apply liner.if you have oily lids you might need to touch up inbetween!

Very basic thing is here which will help you all to decide whether you should go for a primer or not is your eyeshadows!!

If your eyeshadows are very pigmented then you can skip a primer but if your eyshadows are not pigmented and you are spending really hard time making them visible on your lids its always good to apply a base beneath to get rid of that hassle!!

And if your eyes have some discolouration then its always advisable to go for a primer that has correcting properties because that will hide all the discolouration and will give you a smooth and one coloured base.

Somebody just asked me on my Facebook page that what i actually use on my eyes!
And she was asking about my daily skin routine too! I ll cover this topic in a separate Post!
So I guess in India we don't have much option if we just look into those drugstore brands for eye primers! May be one or two brand has primers especially designed for eyes like Revlon, faces and Colorbar but i am not sure about colorbar!

But if you look into those big brands you will find many like from Mac or inglot etc

What Are Alternatives??

So if you are on budget or just a beginner and don't want to buy every single product then i have some alternatives for you!!

1.Go for a concealer no matter if it's a cream or liquid or just a stick concealer that will work! Just make sure if your concealer is cream or stick concealer then it might be little sticky and if you put something on a sticky base that will stick too and we wont be able to blend eyshadows in that case so after applying your concealer just apply a little amount of your face powder and blend !

2.If You have a Face Primer you can use that on your lids too!!

3.you can use even your BB cream or CC cream as your base.

I think the possibilities are endless and I can include so much things here but i don't wanna make you confused so i am keeping this simple so that even a beginner can understand it easily!

And lastly what i use is just a concealer which is cheap in terms of price but works so well!! Its from a brand called Olivia which more focuses on making some skincare products like creams Or facial kits. I bought this when i just started learning things and Now my skin is going pretty well and i don't need a concealer for my face.
The key to use this concealer is use a little product at a time and blend well! I just use it as a base for my eyeshadows and i don't use it on my face because it is very very thick and if not applied carefully can make you look cakey and i have used my foundation as my base too but that was really horrible!! and this works pretty good as compare to my Maybelline foundation just for a base but that foundation is pretty good for face!
And for price it is just for 100Rs!!

Hope this post was helpful for you guys and if you still have any question in your mind regarding eye primers then you can connect with me on FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM or just leave all your questions or suggestions in the comment box below and i ll see you guys soon!! :)

Essential Eye Makeup Brushes Guide For Beginners

Hello girls!!
So Today In My Back To Basics Series I am adding one more topic -what are the Essential Makeup Brushes If you have just begun your Makeup journey. To be very specific this post will only cover the Eye makeup brushes and I will post one more guide on what are the essential face brushes!

When we just look at the makeup brushes we often get confuse because there are too many brushes in the market and we dont know what particular brush we should buy and what work it does actually!!

So I am listing down below some of the essential which i think you should own if you just entered into this!!

Blending Brushes
For me these are the most important and they come in different types from lower to high end brands.
These are important because blending is the crucial key to achieve that flawless makeup look and these brushes helps the shadows to fade into the skin and making it a part of our face and not look like we just played Holi :p these brushes just takes away the harsh lines and make your eyeshadows look blended.

when you apply two eyeshadows just blend inbetween using the brush and it will give you that ombre effect! Or when you are using one eyeshadows all over just use this brush onto your crease and that will take away those harsh lines make it clean and perfect!
Some of the brushes you can buy to start with are:
1. Colorbar Emphaseyes Eye Blending Brush (MRP 249INR)

2.Oriflame Professional Blending Brush which you can only buy from a Oriflame representative and its not available online (MRP: 149INR)

3.Vega professional Eye Brush which is again not easily available but you can purchase it from their official website or from flipkart but most of the time its out of stock there. (MRP : 400INR)

4.Claire's Smokey brush. it's a double ended brush actually and you get an agled brush on the other side. Available only on Claire's store (MRP : 300INR)

5.Kraylon professional art no 3511. This is the most affordable one if you have a store near your home then you can buy this one (MRP 135INR)

Eyeshadows applicator
Now these are very basic brushes and You can just use these to apply an eyeshadow on your eyelid or two your browbone and these come in two forms. One is a flat brush and other one is a sponge applicator. For me that sponge applicator is just useless because it doesn't pick up the colours from your shadow pot well and dont deposit to your eyes too so you can go for a flat brush! Just sweep colour with these onto your eyelids or just pat as you prefer. I would recommend packing on the eyshadow as it minimise the fallout!
__I dont have this brush from any brand so i cannot recommend any but you will get these brushes from evry brand most probably!

Pencil Brush
The other thing you can add to your brush collection is a pencil brush.we call it a pencil brush because it is tiny rounded brush and is good when you just apply your kohl and want to smudge it.you can apply your eyeshadows using this brush to your inner corner area and wherever you need precision application and then just blend with your blending brush so that you dont see harsh lines.!
Again these also comes in sponge and brush form and i have both actually. You dont have to buy both cause that doesn't make sense :p because they both work pretty same!

Now two more brushes which you can add are an angular brush which will help in filling in your eyebrows and the second one is an eyeliner brush! though eyeliners comes with brushes always so its just totally optional for you! But if you go make sure your brush is super soft so that your eyeliner glides on very easily!! i personally love the brush that comes with Maybelline gel eyeliner because it is super soft and i generally throw the brushes that comes with the product because they shed a lot but this is very good But that works with cream amd gel liners only!
And last you can add a spoolie! You can brush up your brows with it and it does makes a difference!! and for a cheaper option you can use a mascara wand if you just have finished your mascara just wash it off and keep it with you for brushing your brows!
Here i have listed only the budgeted brushes because most of the time a beginner hesitates to invest in high end brands because they are too expensive but if it doesn't matter to you,you can go for Mac or inglot's brushes too

And that's it for today's Post! I hope you liked it and it was useful!! and if you have still any confusion or any request on what should i post next or any suggestions just leave them in the comment box below and i will get back to you!
Or you can follow me on FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM and ask me your queries and questions there :)

How to apply foundation with sponge for a flawless skin!!

Hello lovelies!!
How you all are doing!! :D
First I am sorry for the lack of posts but i will be posting regularly soon :D just give me your love and support as always :)
I have noted down all of your requests and suggestions on what tutorials and topics i should post in the coming future and i promise those all will be up very soon!
So today's post is on how to apply a foundation!

I know it is very basic thing and you will find a lot of tutorials on this but i just want to share my Way of doing this which i am currently loving and want to share with you all.!!
So the truth is basically you can actually apply foundation in any way you like! you can apply it with your fingers (which i dont like! But you can do if you like!), with a brush or with a sponge which today i am gonna demonstrate !!

A sponge!
A foundation or bb or cc cream of your choice!
A tissue paper!!
And lets get into the tutorial!!

(sorry if i am looking like a stupid in the pictures below! I dont have a youtube channel yet so tried my best to demonstrate the technique with pictures!)

First thing we are gonna be doing is splash water on your sponge fully and then squeeze it approx 4 to 5 times to get rid of excess water from it! Make sure it just wet and no water is coming out on squeezing!
Then take your tissue paper and soak excess water if any left in your sponge!

The reason why we are doing this is because sponge tends to absorb the foundation and it wont transfer the product on to your face instead it will eat up all the product -_-
And we dont want water instead of foundation on our face thats why we are making sure that no excess water is left!

Next we are gonna take 2 pumps of our foundation here i am using Maybelline dream liquid mousse foundation in the shade nude light and i am placing it on my face with my fingers first because i dont want my sponge to absorb all of the product! and if you use your fingers you might require a lesser amount of foundation.

Now take your sponge and fold it in half and we ll be using the part shown in the third picture!

So now take your sponge and start pressing it onto your face! Dont drag or sweep because we don't want to take off the product from our face!
By pressing the sponge all over the face what it will do is it will evenly distribute the foundation all over and really melts the product into our skin and make it look like you aren't wearing any foundation and look more like your skin! But in reality we have our foundation on!
Dont forget to cover your nose area, sides of your nose, sides of your lips and under eye area! Look up while you are applying foundation under your eyes!
Apply the foundation to your jaw line and neck too because we dont want to look like we are wearing a mask on our face so apply foundation there too.
You can build your foundation by applying one more layer if u need more coverage or if u have dark circles or any other blemishes which aren't covered by your foundation go ahead and apply a concealer using the same technique i.e first apply it on the area concerned with your finger and then melt the product in with your sponge! And we are done!!
I dont really need any concealer nowadays because i have very minor blemishes which my foundation covers beautifully so i dont apply a concealer!
So this is the final picture!

i hope u enjoyed this tutorial and it was helpful for you guys! please let me know in the comments below if u have any questions regarding this or any other queries!

Love you guys! Keep supporting :)

How to last makeup all day long- all myths busted!

Hello girls!

Sorry for not posting since a very long time but i was not well (was hospitalised!) but now i am back and was very much excited to get back to my work which i absolutely love! :D yay posting again!

Today i am not reviewing any product but it is a very basic but very important aspect of makeup which is how to make the makeup last for a very long time!

We all buy high end brand products just in the hopes that it is gonna last long and expect so so much from them and end up getting disappointed and talking around this product is not good, not worth buying n blah blah! but it is not the product always which is wrong, sometimes it is what we are doing before and after applying makeup which makes a huge difference!

Apart from those primers and setting sprays and setting powders available we should take care of some very basic things which makes a tons of difference!

I am listing down below some common mistakes we guys make and we should take care of that and i can promise you guys will see a difference :D and to be very specific it is for beginners and not a pro level post so that everyone can understand it!

1.Buy products which are for your skin type! Yes this is the most common mistake we all make! Buy products whicha re suitable for your skin type but first get to know what skin type you are!
We have main 3 skin types
1.normal
2.oily
3.combination!

Normal skin type is the most blessed skin type because they can experiment with most of the products available :D

Oily skin beauties should opt for products which are tested for keeping oil away so that they feel comfortable throughout the day!

Combination skin type is also very common! if you get oil only around your nose, chin area and forehead and rest of your face is normal to slightly dry then you have a combination skin!

I think i should write a separate post on this because it is very technical topic and i can write so much on this :p but for this post i am just trying to say check the product if that is suitable for your skin type or not before buying!

2.check the compatibility between your foundation and moisturiser or primer whatever! :p now please dont shut because this is the most important step and the reason why i am writing this whole post!
I know it sounds a lil weird but this is the mistake we all people make normally most of the time!
Let me get straight into this!
So what we do when we start applying makeup! we first load up our face with a moisturiser and then a primer and then foundation! nothing wrong in this but wait something was wrong :p we never ever check the ingredients list which makes the whole lot of difference!
So foundation and moisturisers comes in two types!
One is water based and the other variant is oil based!
So now the question is how do we get to know that a particular product is either water based or oil based and what is the relationship of this with long lasting makeup!
The thing is very basic that water and oil are not compatible at all with each other and they don't get mixed!
For instance if your foundation is oil based and your moisturiser is water based or vice versa no matter what you do its not gonna last long as the foundation will slip away because oil and water are not compatible!
So try choosing a foundation and moisturiser of same variant! Either both water based or both oil based!!
So now the question arises that how do we get to know that a product is either oil based or water based!
Grab your foundation or moisturiser and try reading first four five ingredients from the ingredient list.
If you can see water at the very first and some oils name at the end then your product is water based but if some oils are listed on the top then it is an oil based product! Basically the companies write the name of the ingredient which are heavily used at the top and the least used at the end!
So the first four five products name will tell you the whole thing :D

3.last but not the least! Set your makeup properly :D simple and easy! i am gonna post a separate post on how to set your makeup and what products you guys can use to set your makeup!
I hope you like this post! :D if you do please leave any comments or suggestions or feedback below :D i love your replies so much! And don't forget to follow me on my social networking sites!
Search bronzeblushbeauty on Facebook and instgram! :D posting from my mobile so cant post links here! ( sometimes phone sucks :p)
Love you guys all!
Stay tuned because i have something for you guys coming up soon!

New Use of Toner : Cleaning Makeup Brushes!!!

Yes girls!!
You heard it right!!!
I Use a toner to clean my brushes because i dont have a brush cleaner :p umm and my toner do this job very well..!!! So why spend so much money and buying a diff product for cleaning brushes??
okie so i am coming straight to my tutorial and here are the things u will be needing...

(An empty glass)
(Tissues) (i am using clarus facial tissues
(Toner) (i am using himalaya herbals refreshing and clarifying toner.)
(some dirty brushes)
Lets get start it!!!!

( STEPS)
1.First pour some of the toner into your empty glass.

2.Take a tissue paper fold it in half two times.

3.Take your brush. You can see in the image that my brush is so dirty because i applied a silver cream shadow last night with this..

4.Dip your brush into glass, take your tissue and start going in circular motion with the brush on the tissue.

5.Dip dip dip and go round round round untill you see no colour is coming out from your brush on tissue. Now your brush is clean!!!
Repeat this with all your brushes and you are done!!

(NOTE )
#Do not use used tissue and change the liquid after cleaning 2 3 brushes

#clean short brushes like eyeshadow and lip brushes first and large brushes like powder brush, blush brush and buffing brush etc later.

This technique I learnt from youtube channel (pixiwoo)

Some people use baby shampoo to clean their brushes and i use both the techniques to ensure brushes are all clean. First i follow the above explained technique and then i put those brushes in solution of water and baby shampoo and clean them with light hand. You can do whatever technique you like!!
I hope this article will be helpful for you!! Please comment below if you liked it!
