How is your weekend going!!
I am just here sitting at home doing nothing :p but hope you all are enjoying!!

Today i am coming up with the review of this toner which i am actually using from the past one month and i guess more than that and @thewinged_girl on instagram asked me to share a review on this so here it is!!

How does it works for Me
It just comes in a white bottle with a yellow cap(i actually dont care much about the packaging) and has very decent packaging and you just shake well,open it and take some out on your cotton pad and apply all over your skin and neck.
From the very first application you will find that it really minimise the appearance of those pores and it delivers a cooling sensation. It is a plus for some but not for me! I like skincare products which are more on soothing side and i dont like this cooling sensation to be very fair and i even cannot use it as a toner mask.i tried once toner mask using this this toner and as i said it gives that cooling sensation i ended up with a red face after five minutes and find it too harsh on me!

When it comes to eliminating blackheads i seriously didn't notice if it does the work of eliminating blackheads :p and i am so sorry for that! But i really dont think so that a toner can remove blackheads because toners maintain the ph Balance of your face and helps in getting rid of cleanser if any left on your skin after washing your face.(This is just what i personally believe and is my personal opinion)



If You just look at the ingredient list you will find the very 2nd ingredient is alcohol in it and as it is on the top of the ingredient list the quantity is more and my skin isn't suited to alcohol contained toners and i am now facing acne problems so i discontinued using it!

But it really does tightens the pores which is a plus but everything else is just going on the negative side! it might suits you but doesn't suits me and i have found some good alternatives which i ll be sharing soon with you all!!

So i really dont recommend this to those who are allergic and faces problem when it comes to using alchohal conatined products but if this isn't an issue for you and you are ok with that cooling sensation (this is just everybody's personal choice) then you can go for it but i am looking for the one which isn't too harsh on my skin and i am not going to buy this one for sure!

What Is Contouring V/S Bronzing??

Hello all beautiful ladies!!
As the Name suggest its a post differentiating bronzing and contouring and now i know most of you will say ohh this girl is crazy stupid because If you are a regular reader of this blog then you guys must know that I posted a Tutorial on How you Can Contour Your Face and if You haven't Read it yet you can Click here and read it!
Now as you know i suggested you all to use a matte bronzer to use as a contour for you and now here i am just pointing that bronzing and contouring is diffrent!! Isn't it?? Definitely it is! but there was a reason behind that actually i wanted to keep thattutorial simple for you so that even an amateur can understand it easily and learn and now i am going to tell you in this post that what exactly the difference between contouring and bronzing by going into a little dept and it is like an advance one!

So Actually bronzers are especially designed to warm up your skin!! suppose you go out and get a tan in the sun this is actually what bronzer does!! it tanns up your skin and adds colour to your face whereas Contouring is all about creating shadows to the areas we want to hide and reshaping your Face.
Take a mirror and just suck in your cheeks and look at the hollows!! what colour can you see?? More like a greyish brown kind of colour and this is what the shadows looks like but when you look at the bronzers those are not grey they are two warm and make your skin glowy.Bronzers and highlighters are actually applied to the areas we want to bring forward and make them stand out whereas we apply contour shades to area we want to hide or recede.

There is actually no issue doing contouring with a matte bronzer but it actually makes a difference when you do it with contouring powders.just look at the above picture!! on the left side i have contoured my Face using a bronzer and on the right side i have done contouring with a contouring powder.Can you see the difference??
In the left picture my face is having a glow and i haven't shaped any area instead added a glow or colour to my face and on the right side all is subtle and structured.
Let me just explain you the difference between the two using some pictures.



Look at the left picture it is more like a warm toned brown whereas the right one is more like a cool toned brown and it actually sculpts and create shapes.!!

As i said in my last post related to contour that you can even use a compact powder which is 2 to 3 shades darker than your actual skin colour because if you just look at the picture above and compare it to the last picture which is just above this one you can see compacts are not too warm like a bronzer and not too cool like a sculpting/Bronzing powder and just bangs inbetween so these actually works best to use as a contour for your face and more easily available in india :p
And i said even last time if you don't have any powder or you don't want to invest right now so you can always start with a matte borwn eyeshadow just make sure whatever shade you select isn't too dark for your skin colour else it will look like a mud on your face.
And those who asked me that adding a colour which is darker than our skin colour will look weird i want to make you clear that opt for a right colour and a right tool/brushes and blend well and in right way!! This way it won't look like we have put something on your face and will actually look like a part of your face!!
