Every girl needs to have a matte black eyeshadow in her makeup kit for so many reasons like it is so easier to set your eyeliner or kohl pencil with a matte black eyshadow because it just lock your liner in place and stays on for long or adding a touch of black to your eyshadows can easily transform your look and so many more reasons are there!!
I was actually haunting for a good matte black eyeshadow since a long time and was very curious to try the one from inglot and finally got my hands on it!!
These freedom system eyeshadows come in a small square metal refill pot and these are available in so many colours! You just name the shade and they have one for you varying from mattes to shimmers! And the good thing is that you have the freedom to customise your own eyeshadow palette by selecting the shades you want and depot them in a palette and that is why it named as freedom system!
Price: 400 INR for 8g of product.
My Take On The Product
The colour pay off of this eyshadow is quite good and it actually seems like a rich black when i pick some up with my finger.
This eyshadow just glides on easily on to eyes especially when you are using a brush with synthetic hair (it is always better to go for a brush with synthetic hair because it deposit the colours better) and is very nicely pigmented just in one stroke and you can build up the colour more by applying another layer. These shadows stays on for a long time on the lids without creasing and fading and once applied it just stick to the eyes but easily removable with eyemakeup remover and a cotton pad.
I actually expected it to be the richest black colour but sometimes it seems to me a darkest grey more instead of the blackest black :p or may be i am just expecting more!!
Anyways i have swatched this shadow along with the other black shadows which i recently purchased.
The last one swatch is from the inglot black shadow and the rest are from the shadows that belongs to a single palette i recently got from Makeup Revolution London and will be sharing a full review of the palette later on.
If i just ignore all other shadows i am very much satisfied with the colour pay off this shadow gives but if i take all into consideration i will go for the eyeshadows that comes in the palette from Makeup Revolution London because the colour pay off is very much similar as you can see and both stays on the eyes for a good time. But these shadows comes in a big palette containing 100 colours and i don't think so everyone will go for that!
Overall it is a good eyshadow and is a worth buy but the only problem for me is that they dont sell eyshadows without a palette (especially here in bangalore,i don't know if they sell it without palette anywhere else in india) and the palette actually cost me more than the price of a shadow :p
And i guess i am still haunting for that perfect black colour i wanted but at this price this is the best eyshadow with this much of colour pay off and staying power.
Have any of you tried this eyshadow?? share your experience in the comment section below!
