While the whole Internet is Raving about the Dupes of the amazing matte liquid lipsticks, i just happened to realise that i too have one to share with you guys !!

So i bought one for myself last year in september when i went to delhi for a small vacation.I got so excited by the looking at the price that i wanted to buy all of those but somehow managed not to spend only on lipsticks because Hey girl! You cant afford to miss an awesome trip to sarojini ,right?

PRICE: Around INR 200ish ( dont really remember the exact price)

WHAT BBB HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE RPODUCT:
The product comes in a transparent squarish container with a matte black lid which has an applicator to apply the product on lips.
the product inside is a deep pigmented liquid which gives you an opaque finish in one coat.you can obviously layer it on if you want to intensify the colour a bit more.

the product is neither too thick nor too runny.it dries out matte after few seconds. the thicker you go on with rhe product the longer it takes to dry out.
Honestly i am so much in love with the deep maroon red colour it has got.
but the only drawback with lip colour is that it dries out my lips so bad that i cant really keep it on to my lips.

One should definately put a lip conditioner or a balm on to the lips before applying it onto the lips. make sure you blot off the excess moisture of the balm in order to keep the lipstick matte otherwise the texture of the lipstick could get altered.
It is transfer proof to some extent as well and has a really nice wear time.
it can come off when you eat something oily so make sure you keep the lipstick with you to touch up in case you happen to eat something.

Honestly for the price it is a really good deal and is a good alternative for those pricey matte liquid lipsticks.it is a good option for college going girls to start off with those fancy lip colours and are not going to hurt their pockets as well.

it has a variety of colours from pinks to nudes too dark to choose from!
But i am still not really happy with the fact that it does dry out my lips and i cant really wear it on my lips because it feels so stretchy and uncomfortable.

Starting with a Lil info about the brand, it is a brand dealing in all natural mineral makeup stuff and claims to provide you with best products without having to compromise with your skin health!


The lipstick comes in a complete black plastic case and has 3D quilted pattern on two opposite side while the rest two sides are plain. The looks really reminds of Revlon colourburst lipsticks.
The lipstick has the brand name written on one side with silver color which has now been scratched off by the things in my bag it was getting in contact with 😜



The name of the shade I have with me is called Ruby which As the name suggests is THE RED kind of red lipstick and has satin creme finish to it (which I am not very fond of! )
This lipstick looks really opaque in the container but comes little sheer on lips as it isn't matte in texture.
The creme texture makes it so easier to glide onto the lips and it feels so lightweight.
You can build the intensity by swiping more coats of it on the lips.I face a problem with few lipsticks while swiping them a lot that it gets cakey and patchy but there isn't any issue with this one.

I have swiped once in the right swatch and left one has multiple swipes.

It disappear quickly from the lips so make sure you carry this lipstick with you when you are going out.


It suits fair to medium skin tones really well.
It is a mineral lipstick so it is free from lead,parabens & other preservatives.(Happy dance 💃🏼💃🏼)
It contains vitamin C & E so it keeps my lips moisturised the whole time I have this on.
Its mineral pigments provides protection from sun so one can wear it on day time as well and trust me girls if you are comfortable ,red isn't at all a scary color to pull off even for day time!

It can be a good lipstick option for this holiday Christmas and new year parties and there is no harm going natural this season but the only drawback I found in this is the creme texture because the lipstick doesn't last that longer and we need touch up after some hours.

I would totally recommend you this lipstick if you don't bother about the creme finish because it has more pro's than con's.
I find it a little too pricey.

Rimmel London APOCALIPS Lip Lacquer -401(Aurora) Review, Swatch and Prices

I never Knew that I will become a lipstick hoarder in my life ever because I was always all about the eyes!
I still experiment with my eyes and play with colours on my eyes but now I have started wearing bright lippies as well which were a Big NO before.

Today I am here with review of a Lip Lacquer from Rimmel which I Bought a month ago and have worn a couple of times now so It was the perfect time to review this because now I have tested it properly and can make a Comment on the same.



How Lip Lacquer is different from Lip Gloss
lip lacquer is more of a liquid lipstick . it is thicker in consistency and it also is more opaque and has more coverage . where as a lip gloss is more sheer than a lacquer and is thinner in consistency and less opaque.
Lip Gloss Generally has got a sticky finish where as Lacquer has more wet and watery finish.

First thing which Impressed me a lot was the packaging and next was the quantity of product Rimmel always offers.

They have really very reasonable prices for their products and they offer a good quantity as well if compared to other competitor brands!

The Lacquer comes in a plastic Tube kinda packaging as other glosses would come and the tube has got some sharp cuts and edges on top like a diamond which looks fancy!
The ombre Tube has got a black top and a coloured bottom which indicates the colour of lip lacquer inside the tube.

The tube has got the brand & product name printed in the middle in silver colour and on the back side you can see a sticker which has got the barcode and shade name written on it.

I have got the shade called Aurora(shade no 401) which is a nice soft pink with a light coral touch to it.



The Tip applicator of the Lacquer has got a egg like shape and it has a small hollow on one side which collects the product from the container and You can always clean off the excess at the edge of the container.
The sponge applicator helps in applying the Lacquer perfectly on lips.





The Colour inside as I said above is a coralish pink and it isn't shimmery which I love because I am not a fan of glitters on lips!



It glides on the lips easily and beautifully giving almost an opaque finish in one stroke.I can't even feel if I am wearing something on my lips or not so it doesn't feels heavy at all.
It gives a non sticky kind of a liquidy finish which looks awesome. I can't see any spreading after some hours which a gloss always do to my lips and I end up looking horrible.


It stays for a decent 3-4 hours without eating and I can see some fading if we eat or drink something especially oily.

It fits in my small bags as well so its travel friendly as well and I carry it with me almost every single day.



Overall I love this Lip Lacquer and feels like at this price point they have given really decent product and if you are planning to buy this then I would definitely recommend you guys to grab your hands on it!
I have seen they Nykaa has got almost 40% off on these as well so we can get this for even more less price!
