And the Festive Series continues...

So I didn't plan to make it a series but i am enjoying how everything is falling into place by itself and i am able to create a lot of looks for this festive season.So today's post is about Karwa Chauth makeup look which is falling on this Sunday 8th Oct.

So Let's Break down the makeup step by step.

Base:

I started off the Makeup using Mac Prep+Prime Natural Radiance primer to start off the base.I love this primer because it gives me a smooth base to work on with and it pretty much suits all skin types.

Foundation:  I used my trusty Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation as a base in the shade NC-40 for her followed by Mac Studio Finish Concealer-NW35. It's a full coverage concealer which has plenty of shades so you will definitely get one for yourself! 

My model had round face so i added little highlight contour using the same studio finish concealer palette-Medium Deep.

I did set the base with Mac Select Sheer powder because the makeup is already heavy and select sheer powders are really lightweight.

Blush: Because its festive season and we Indians love wearing shine, i added Mac Mineralise Blush in the shade Warm Soul and Mac Sheertone Blush in the shade Fluer Power and this Mix gave me a perfect pink sheen for the cheeks.

Highlight; Mac Mineralise Skinfinish- Soft & Gentle because we can never have enough Highlight!

Eyes: 

Primer: PAC Eyebase no 4

Eyeshadow: Morphe Eyeshadow palette 34F which is perfect for fall and it contains such versatile colors that go with all skin tones.

I used All pinks & oranges shade from the palette which i have already highlighted in the picture for your reference.

Apart from that i also added Mac eyeshadow in Passionate for that pop of color in the crease. 

Eyeliner: Loreal Paris Liner Magique 

Kajal & Mascara: Sugar Twist & Shout Fadeproof Kajal with Sugar Lash Mob Mascara which is my ultimate favorite. It is Dark Black and provides intense volume.

Also, my model had such Amazing Lashes.

Lips: 

I kept the lips really matte and colorful. 

I used MAC Retro Matte Lipstick- All Fired Up with a Prolongwear Lip pencil- Trust in Red.

Starting off with the outer carton packaging as this is the thing I fell in love with at first sight.
It has a very slim Rectangular carton box with abstract face painting on it.
On top it has got the logo of the brand and on the bottom part The name and shade of the eyeliner has printed.
The eyeliner itself has got a name "Eye Told You So waterproof Eyeliner " which reminds me of benefit cosmetics as they also have some unique names to their products as well.
The shade I have is called Black Swan which is a matte black colour and its truly black (no grey).
Inside the carton box the actual product has got a black sleek rounded plastic packaging and it comes with a longer brush so it's easy to hold and gives you a nice grip which in turn makes the application process very easy.




One of best part about this Eyeliner is the felt tip brush. Its really pointy and sturdy and picks up the right amount of product always to give a neat finish.
The brush tip is so thin that I can focus on the inner corner of my eye as well and can draw the thinnest line possible ever.

Unlike the one from Maybelline which also has a thinnest pointy tip this one is sturdy and isn't going to break.



As you can see from the above picture that I can draw thin or thick lines as I want and I can even write as well.

The eyeliner is waterproof and smudgeproof but easy to remove and comes off easily just with some warm water so its hassle free as well but I will still recommend you to use a makeup remover to wipe this off.

The cheery on the top is that Its paraben free!
The only thing you need to care about is that it can dry so fast because all the felt tip eyeliners tends to.
Keeping it closed rightly will prevent it from drying out.

This is the beautiful time of the month when we usually receive all of our goodies bags like Fabbag or envy boxes or msm or any other.
So i recieved my Fabbag yesterday and My First Envy Box just after that!
It was like a early birthday gifts raining for me!

I have got a waterproff Liquid eyeliner from this brand.they have got some pretty names to their cosmetics just like benifit cosmetics have and this one is called EYE TOLD YOU SO! Waterproof Eyeliner.

The eyeliner has got a rounded sleek container and to my surprise the applicator has got a felt tip!!

i love felt tip liquid eyeliners and have a special place for these in my heart!

The colour of the eyeliner is jet black and its sets to matte finish and i must say this product is a BOMB!!!

The Next Product I can see in my bag is a sample size combo of a facewash and a scrub from AYORMA which is the second new brand introduced by fabbag this month.

The facewash says that its a fairness and anti tan facewash and the scrub is just a fairness daily scrub which is certified by Spa oils and these are paraben free!

Full size Facewash is priced at INR349 for 100ml and the Scrub is priced at INR279 for 50gm which is quite affordable and i am thinking to give it a try because i cant judge the product just by using it 3 to 4 times because these samples are really small!

Up Next we have a new and quite interesting product from Vana which is an ayurvedic skincare brand.

ladies we have got VANA Italian Bergamot Luxury Summer Shimmer SUNSCREEN!!!

This ia a body shimmer sunscreen which is going to give us that celeb like glowing skin along with protection from UV rays of Sun this summer.

this is a decent size sample product and we are getting 60ml of product in a sample which is great!

full size product is priced at INR2400 for 115ml.

The shimmer is not visible on the camera because it has got very light small shimmer particles which are going to accentuate your body features.This is 100% paraben free product as well!

The last product i have got is again a full size product including that Eyeliner!!

the lipstick they have sent us this time is from Bellapierre and this was the main product on what the whole theme was based this month basically.

I have got a Red Lipstick which is called RUBY and this is a pure red lipstick which has creamy texture and i tried wearing this one when i got this !
