How To Contour Your Face With Powder Products

Hello girls!!

So I am back with another tutorial and this time i am gonna be telling you how you can contour your face! Oh wait! But what is contouring means actually and why we are doing this???

A Big Question
sooo basically contouring is a technique which is used to create shapes and give our face a proper structure!!

We all have different kind of face shapes like round shape, sqaure Shape etc and among all of those an oval shape is considered to be the best!! So an oval shape is similar to the shape of an egg!!

So the very basic purpose of contouring is to achieve an oval shape(which i never try to achieve, lol).you can actually use this for couple of things like if somebody has a wider nose then we can create an illusion of skinner and slimmer nose.If somebody has wider forehead we can narrow it down and it has no limits actually!
So what actually you can use for contouring
Contouring is just exactly opposite to Highlighting!I just recently posted a tutorial on this topic which you can read HERE!! As highlighting brings out your features contour does opposite it creates shadows! so the area you wanna hide is the place where you should put your contour colour!
I am listing below the products you can use to contour your face

1.You can use a bronzer which is completely matte! make sure its 3 to 4 shades darker than your original skin color!
2.A compact powder or an eyeshadow which is 3 to 4 shades darker than your skin colour but make sure its matte!

So let's do it in action Now!!
Here i am using my revlon highlighting pallette in peach glow because my L'Oréal sculpting powder is not that pigmented and it really needs a solid base underneath to show up! Yea i just said you should use something matte but i am just using this for the purpose of this post so it doesn't bother me but you guys should do it with something matte!!
Steps

As usual i am having my foundation on only and let's move on to contouring!!
I usually mix the first two shades of my highlighting pallette so that i can get the exact shade for my skin color but ehh what you can do i accidentally took the third one which is too dark for my skin color!

So take a blush brush which is not so big Apply the product on one side as shown in the pic and now we are going to start applying it on our face.start from the middle of your ear draw a line till the middle of your eyeball.
Remember always start with a lil product and keep on adding if you need to.because you can build up the intensity but if you apply too much in the starting it will be so difficult to take off and in turn it will ruin everything :/

Can u see its looking like a straight line or strap on our face so what we are going to do is clean the brush on a tissue paper and put it on the area we applied our color previously as shown in the picture above and just sweep it a lil up to blend!! Take your time with blending and get it right!!
Can u see a very nice structured cheekbone!! i love it!

Next if you have a wide forehead you can actually narrow it down by applying the same colour on the sides of your forehead and blend it into your hairline.
And you can apply the contour shade just under your chin.it is good for people who have double chin.
Apply the same shade under your jawline to reshape it and make it more defined!!
Last but not least i cleaned my brush and applied a pink blush on the apples of my cheeks! To find apples of your cheeks just smile and yoy will find!! i normally dont liie to apply it on the apples of my cheeks but today i did and i dont know why :p

Please note that this is a very basic tutorial and i kept it simple so that you all can understand.!!
