Hello girls!!
So Today In My Back To Basics Series I am adding one more topic -what are the Essential Makeup Brushes If you have just begun your Makeup journey. To be very specific this post will only cover the Eye makeup brushes and I will post one more guide on what are the essential face brushes!
When we just look at the makeup brushes we often get confuse because there are too many brushes in the market and we dont know what particular brush we should buy and what work it does actually!!
So I am listing down below some of the essential which i think you should own if you just entered into this!!
Blending Brushes
For me these are the most important and they come in different types from lower to high end brands.
These are important because blending is the crucial key to achieve that flawless makeup look and these brushes helps the shadows to fade into the skin and making it a part of our face and not look like we just played Holi :p these brushes just takes away the harsh lines and make your eyeshadows look blended.
when you apply two eyeshadows just blend inbetween using the brush and it will give you that ombre effect! Or when you are using one eyeshadows all over just use this brush onto your crease and that will take away those harsh lines make it clean and perfect!
Some of the brushes you can buy to start with are:
1. Colorbar Emphaseyes Eye Blending Brush (MRP 249INR)
2.Oriflame Professional Blending Brush which you can only buy from a Oriflame representative and its not available online (MRP: 149INR)
3.Vega professional Eye Brush which is again not easily available but you can purchase it from their official website or from flipkart but most of the time its out of stock there. (MRP : 400INR)
4.Claire's Smokey brush. it's a double ended brush actually and you get an agled brush on the other side. Available only on Claire's store (MRP : 300INR)
5.Kraylon professional art no 3511. This is the most affordable one if you have a store near your home then you can buy this one (MRP 135INR)
Eyeshadows applicator
Now these are very basic brushes and You can just use these to apply an eyeshadow on your eyelid or two your browbone and these come in two forms. One is a flat brush and other one is a sponge applicator. For me that sponge applicator is just useless because it doesn't pick up the colours from your shadow pot well and dont deposit to your eyes too so you can go for a flat brush! Just sweep colour with these onto your eyelids or just pat as you prefer. I would recommend packing on the eyshadow as it minimise the fallout!
__I dont have this brush from any brand so i cannot recommend any but you will get these brushes from evry brand most probably!
Pencil Brush
The other thing you can add to your brush collection is a pencil brush.we call it a pencil brush because it is tiny rounded brush and is good when you just apply your kohl and want to smudge it.you can apply your eyeshadows using this brush to your inner corner area and wherever you need precision application and then just blend with your blending brush so that you dont see harsh lines.!
Again these also comes in sponge and brush form and i have both actually. You dont have to buy both cause that doesn't make sense :p because they both work pretty same!
Now two more brushes which you can add are an angular brush which will help in filling in your eyebrows and the second one is an eyeliner brush! though eyeliners comes with brushes always so its just totally optional for you! But if you go make sure your brush is super soft so that your eyeliner glides on very easily!! i personally love the brush that comes with Maybelline gel eyeliner because it is super soft and i generally throw the brushes that comes with the product because they shed a lot but this is very good But that works with cream amd gel liners only!
And last you can add a spoolie! You can brush up your brows with it and it does makes a difference!! and for a cheaper option you can use a mascara wand if you just have finished your mascara just wash it off and keep it with you for brushing your brows!
Here i have listed only the budgeted brushes because most of the time a beginner hesitates to invest in high end brands because they are too expensive but if it doesn't matter to you,you can go for Mac or inglot's brushes too
And that's it for today's Post! I hope you liked it and it was useful!! and if you have still any confusion or any request on what should i post next or any suggestions just leave them in the comment box below and i will get back to you!
